December 22nd – Wales – HPAI H5N8 isolated from a dead wild Wigeon found near Llanelli.
December 23rd – Scotland – H5N8 found in a wild peregrine in Dumfries and Galloway.
December 23rd – England – H5N8 in dead Wigeon found in Leicestershire and Somerset. It is the same strain as that is circulating in Europe and was found on a turkey farm in Lincolnshire.
